Mahmood Arib is a filmmaker, photographer and translator born in 1979 in Iran. His film works include documentaries and short films that have won several national and international awards, including FFTG New York, Berlin Indie - Germany, Jaipur - India, Brazil Independent Film Festival BIFF, Artisan - England, Golden Reel - Singapore - Latin American Independent Film Festival... He has participated and won several domestic, national and international exhibitions as a photographer. As a writer, he has published articles in local magazines. He has also taught filmmaking with a focus on cinema and photography at the Iranian Youth Cinema Association. Mahmood Arib has translated a book titled "Truth in Photography" written by "Leslie Mullen" for photographers and visual arts enthusiasts.
