My name is Mason Grande and I am the writer and Director of First Light. I had my start in live theater both as an actor and director for different productions at local High Schools. Once in college at University of Colorado Denver I Have been a cinematographer for Night Owl (2022) and Analog (2023). While working in cinematography I made the jump over to writing and directing as I missed getting to work with actors directly leading to First Light (2023). I am excited to continue sharpen my skills and bring queer films to life! I have a couple different projects coming in the future, I was a cinematographer in a documentary, (Dragons in Seattle) as well as writing and directing my second film (Hexed) set to premiere in May 2025!
